Cosmetic grade metallic effect pigments are very fine powdered mica pigments that are non-toxic, inert, and can be mixed into virtually any viscous, transparent medium and applied to any surface. They are made of platelets of mica coated with iron oxide.

Cosmetic Grade Iron Oxides are invaluable in formulating mineral makeup, their earthy tones are used in foundations, matte eyeshadows, blushers, bronzers, lipsticks, mascara – the list is endless. They are very strong effect pigments , so adding very small amounts at a time when formulating is always a good tip.

Bronze Metallic effect give skin a bit of color by adding a golden or bronze glow and highlighting the cheekbones, as well as being used for contouring. Bronze Metallic Series effect is considered to be more of a natural look and can be used for an everyday wear. Bronze Metallic Series effect enhances the color of the face while adding more of a shimmery look. It comes in either matte, semi matte/satin, or shimmer finishes.

The finer the particle is, the better coverage it has; the larger the particle is, the more shiny it is. Depending on the particle size, you can choose to get a smooth luster with good coverage effect, can also a sparkle shining luster, or any effects between them.

For examples, 10-60μm is common particle size, if you want the matte effect, you can choose less than 60μm, on the contrary, this is the bright effect.
