
Interference Pearls
Yortay Interference pearlescent pigment consists of mica coated with rutile titanium dioxide. These pearlescent pigment can create gold, orange, red, violet, blue and green colors when the titanium dioxide layer varies in thickness. They are physically optical interference phenomenons. The interference colors are caused by the light distance gap between the light reflected by the titanium dioxide and the one reflected by mica.
